A Devil Food is Turning Our Kids into Homosexuals

I'm not kidding. This is the actual title of a column by some right winger. Apparently, "when you eat or drink a lot of soy stuff, you're also getting substantial quantities of estrogens." He continues:

Soy is feminizing, and commonly leads to a decrease in the size of the penis, sexual confusion and homosexuality. That's why most of the medical (not socio-spiritual) blame for today's rise in homosexuality must fall upon the rise in soy formula and other soy products. (Most babies are bottle-fed during some part of their infancy, and one-fourth of them are getting soy milk!)

Who knew?! I used to think that tofu was bland, flavourless, had a tendency to break up in my stirfrys, and was sort of rubbery and icky.

Now--well, let's make sure everyone eats more soy, particularly pregnant mothers!

My wife will be happy with this. It means someday I will "turn" and stop trying to get into her pants all the time.

I always thought the best way to spread gay was to lick produce at the grocery store and put it back. This is much cleaner! Thanks for the advice.

(This is meant to be ironic and funny - not offensive)

I have to wonder what makes a person gay/lesbian if they've never touched soy in their lives?

We know there are kooks out there who come up with bizarre theories, but what is more frightening is those other wackos who believe this crap.

I have two girlfriends who are lesbians and who are now engaged and I'm wondering if (I gave them each a kiss and a hug in congratulations - will I now become a lesbian?) (hope you realize I'm joking).

The one girlfriend went through 2 marriages trying to fit into the so-called norm. She went through so much pain and more so when she decided to "come out" over trying to tell her daughter (in university). Well, she spent a mother/daughter weekend with her and told her and it came out really well - they are closer than ever. Like I've said before, it's a generational thing and the youth are more understanding and tolerant. Her daughter is going to stand up for her at the wedding.
