The political and other musings of two Canadians. One in Toronto at the Centre of the Universe, and the other in Los Angeles, at the, 'ahem', Center of the Universe. When we're not tag-teaming, we're attacking from both ends.

Dean , first off all, Los Angles is not "typical " of mainstream America(left wing, homosexuals, illegal immigration, black on black and mexican on mexican crime). That is far from the "avergae" USA city.
However, 432 AMERICANS HAVE DIED FROM CALIFORNIA ALONE, with 28 from Los Angeles.
Americas feel differently than Canadians about being in the service. For the most part, its family tradition that keeps the line going. Also, after 9/11 , thousands of PROFESSIONAL Americans either re-enlisted or joined the service. You know thats a fact.
So after knowing that 432 Californians have died in the two wars, are you going to shut your mouth and admit your clueless about the USA and her military?
Grow up.
Almost as tough as bowling ;)
Steve--I know you're kinda kidding, but two things: 1) Being good at bowling is not something to be proud of; and 2) there's a fundamental difference between being bad at a "sport," and being able to run a pretty basic food dispenser. Now, if Obama walked up to the bowling alley and had no clue whatsoever what to do, that would be something else . . .
