I'm sorry, but what relevance does this stunt have to do with the leadership campaign? Iggy, you're not the leader of your party, the Opposition, or of Canada's government yet, yet and yet, (foot-in-lower-esophagus-at-this-point notwithstanding).
Stick to winning over Liberals in the short term.
I wonder who he expects will greet him at the airport?

It is a red herring.
And everyone knows it is one.
A bit pathetic, really.
What Ignatieff should be doing is setting the record straightL Does he know of any facts to support his emphatic and clear accusation that Israel committed war crimes at Qana?
If he does, will be disclose them to us? And provide those facts to an appropriate international body?
If he does not, will he say so, and retract that grave accusation now, before it becomes an issue in the next election? And for decency's sake.
The issue is clear. His reactions are not.
Level with Canadians, Mr Ignatieff. They have a right to know the grounds of your serious charges.
