So to all those nutjob countries that criticise us here for being anti-Islam: How many Christian democratically-elected members of your majlis or council of whatever do you have? How many Jews?
(Okay, I take it a little back. Iran has one Jew, one Armenian, one Zoroastrian, and one Christian. But still.)

Still a long way from accounting for the 12% of Americans who are black, and just over 5% who are non-Christian (20% if you include the atheists). ;) But it's still another pleasant step in the right direction.
Sure, but Ellison ran in freakin-Minnesota!! Moreover,in a district with a huge African-Muslim population. I would love to see what would happen if a black Muslim ran in Alabama,Texas, or New York with its huge Jew population.
